KETAMINE ASSISTED PSYCHOTHERAPY
We are pleased to introduce you to our team working to provide ketamine assisted therapy at the Cairn Center. While you will need a medical clearance from either Dr. Jain or Dr. Stikovac, you can choose to do your psychological assessment and/or your ketamine assisted psychotherapy sessions with Dr. Jain, Caasi, Wendy, or Caleb based on your preference and their availability. While completing her psychiatric residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX Dr. Jain simultaneously pursued training at the Dallas Psychoanalytic Institute showing her deep dedication to the view that the true power of healing is only provided through a patient-centered approach to treating the whole person that may include psychopharmacology but that must be based on individual psychotherapy and a true understanding of each patient’s life and needs. Her belief that a person and their inner healing intelligence, when engaged with reverence and consideration, leads towards their own transformation and journey towards wholeness and her careful study of the growing literature on the efficacy of the use of psychedelics (and pseudo-psychedelics) in treatment lead her to start offering ketamine assisted psychotherapy. Along with her years of experience and expertise, having completed Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy training with the Polaris Insight Center and Prati, Internal Family Systems Coach training with Guthrie Saven, PhD, and MDMA Assisted Therapy training with the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies, Dr. Jain is uniquely suited to oversee our ketamine assisted psychotherapy offerings at the Cairn Center.
SHAILY JAIN MD
As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Nevada, Caleb Brooks has been seeing couples and individuals at the Cairn Center since 2017. His approach to couple’s therapy utilizes knowledge of developmental neuroscience, attachment theory, and arousal regulation to motivate change in even the most disregulated couples. A firm believer in getting to work quickly and effectively in treatment, Caleb recognizes in ketamine an incredibly forceful tool that can be used for personal growth and change if taken advantage of thoughtfully and fully through ketamine assisted psychotherapy. Along with doing ketamine assisted psychotherapy training with the Sage Integrative Health, Caleb has completed Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy training at the Polaris Insight Center.

In order to participate in ketamine assisted psychotherapy at the Cairn Center you must be assessed both physically and psychologically by a Cain Center provider. While Dr. Stikovac is not currently offering ketamine therapy she is able to complete your necessary medical clearance. As a Board certified psychiatrist who shares the common belief that psychiatric treatment is treatment of the whole person (not of their symptoms), Dr. Stikovac moved her longstanding private practice to the Cairn Center when she moved to Las Vegas from Kentucky (where she completed her residency and received her medical degree from the University of Louisville).
DAISY STIKOVAC MD
Caasi O'Day is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience in the field of psychotherapy. Since 2009, Caasi has been helping individuals on their journey to emotional well-being through traditional psychotherapy methods. Her journey took an intriguing turn when she discovered the power of Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy. Recognizing that some clients continued to face challenges despite the effectiveness of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy techniques, Caasi delved deeper into IFS. She is currently on her path towards certification through the Internal Family Systems Institute. Caasi studied Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy at the Polaris Insight Center in San Francisco. She embraces KAP as a means to explore the depths of our inner dynamics and subconscious barriers. In a safe and controlled environment, this therapeutic modality provides a unique opportunity for self-discovery and healing. The essence of Caasi's work lies in the integration of these newfound insights into our inner world. Through this process, she empowers individuals to shed the burdens and fears that have held them back, paving the way for a life that's liberated, joyful, and full of possibilities.

Wendy, who received her Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from UNLV, describes herself as a client-centered, holistic therapist who is dedicated to exploring pathways that allow clients to step aside from their current storylines (that may not be serving them or even frustrating their growth) and connect with the innate wisdom that lies within to cultivate healing and freedom. As well as continuing to run her own private practice, Wendy joins the other caring professionals at the Cairn Center to offer ketamine assisted therapy. Like Dr. Jain she has completed both the MDMA Assisted Therapy training with the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies and Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy training with the Polaris Insight Center. In addition Wendy offers a unique perspective through her further training in Integrative Body Psychotherapy through the IPB Institute Santa Monica.
